25 November is International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls (IDEVAWG)

According to the UN, 5 November has been celebrated as a day against sex-based violence against women since 1981. The UN now has established the Unite! campaign, for 16 days of activism starting from today and ending on International Human Rights Day on 10 December.
