The Lesbian Club (TLC)

The Lesbian Club Inc is an organisation founded in Victoria as a resource for lesbians in Australian to access lesbian only space. It is currently the only legal way for lesbians in Australia to gather today at publicly advertised events without the presence of men (and that includes trans identified men who call themselvess lesbian).

The Lesbian Club (TLC) is a membership based club for lesbians. It was founded in 2023 with the aim of providing and promoting social and cultural events for members and their guests. It is based in Victoria Australia and is developing branches in other States.
TLC Vic Inc asserts the right of lesbians to freedom of association and freedom of speech, exclusively with other lesbians.

It provides information about regular get-togethers around Victoria as well as online meet-ups for younger lesbians.

Membership is restricted to ‘biologically female lesbians, raised as a girl from birth.’ To join, you need to be nominated by two TLC members, or interviewed online, and pay a small annual fee of $10.

TLC is looking for more lesbians in other parts of Australia to set up TLC branches and events outside Victoria.
