Campaign against proposed Sex Self ID in NSW

CoAL  joins with AF4WR (Australian Feminists for Women’s Rights), LGB Alliance Australia and WRNA (Women’s Rights Network Australia), to call for Australians to reject proposed ‘equality’ legislation tabled by Alex Greenwich last year in the NSW Parliament and now under active consideration by the Minns Labor government.

Self-ID, which is confused about whether it’s about sex or gender, will give men and boys access to what have been long-held women-only safe spaces, such as lesbian dances, bars and other gatherings, rape crisis centres, women’s health centres, women’s sports teams, womens toilets, women’s changing rooms at swimming pools and sports centres, etc. For an extensive list of the rights that women and girls have already lost in Australia because of self ID legislation, click here.
