Family law barrister Belle Lane urges Australian judges to reconsider their consideration of cases concerning people who identify as transgender
The Victorian barrister, Belle Lane, has produced a landmark paper, Gender questioning children and family law: an evolving landscape, presented to judges of the Federal Circuit and Family April 2023 of Australia (the link here is to a revised version).
According to investigative journalist Bernard Lane of Gender Clinic News, it is being widely circulated among Australian ‘legal, medical and gender-critical networks.’ It is hoped that it will educate the key decision-makers to carry out their professional work without causing further harm to the lives of young lesbians.
